Wow! The reason why you walk in wonderful wisdom, which I love, is that you are a winsome woman of the Word! ❤

Day 20 – “Proverbs Prayers”

Your husband needs your wisdom! Your wisdom needs to come from God!
If you IMG_1411remember nothing else of what I write today, please remember that.

The book of Proverbs can be your best friend, and if you heed to its wisdom, it can save you a boat-load of heartache.

Proverbs purpose proves to be exactly what it professes, in the first couple verses of Chapter 1. Solomon introduces Proverbs with this statement:

“Their purpose is to teach people to live disciplined and successful lives, to help them do what is right, just, and fair. These proverbs will give insight to the simple, knowledge and discernment …”

I’ve always tried to read a Proverb a day, sometimes I miss, but I found them much more profitable in my life when I read shorter passages, but dwelt on, and prayed about their meaning for longer periods…

Day 12 – 30 Day “Praying For My Husband” Challenge

Day 12 – “My Husbands’s Loving Nature”

imagesIt would be virtuously impossible for any Christian wife to read 1 Corinthians 13 and not hear the voice of the Holy Spirit calling her to ponder the state of her own heart concerning love, and specifically loving her husband. The only way she could possibly pass over this, is to fool herself into believing loving God and all she does for God, was so much more important.

Paul so clearly conveys that the most important thing for believers is to become deeply and consistently loving people, and that apart from the expression of love, spiritual gifts and all the ways God can use us are of no value.

Unknown1 Corinthians is such romantic poetry to the woman who is deeply in love with both God and her husband, but for the one who struggles, or has been hurt or disappointed, or disillusioned…

Day 5 – 30 Day “Praying For My Husband” Challenge

So rich in the Word and wisdom!

Day 5 – “My Husband’s Health”

“God want’s your husband to experience divine health, not just divine healing”, is what Pamela said in the beginning of Chapter 5. Covering your husband’s health in prayer is important. If you want your husband to fulfill his divine purpose, truly be the man God intends him to be, and become your family’s spiritual leader, his health needs to beImage-1 protected. Good health is a precious gift we are blessed with and all of us need to use daily wisdom in protecting and maintaining it. Destroying your health is also what the enemy would like to do, to keep you from receiving other good gifts and opportunities from the Lord.

Confess the Word over your husband today, that God will keep him in good health and give him wisdom to make choices that help him live out each day at optimum physical levels.

30 Days “PRAYING FOR MY HUSBAND” Challenge

Valerie Holmes

In just a few days we will begin our 30 day challenge of praying daily for our husbands. It’s not that we have never prayed for them before, but now we will be praying with strategy and with better understanding of why we need to pray and how powerful prayer is! God still hears and answers the effectual, fervent prayer of a righteous woman!

With marriage being so brutally beaten by the media, minority groups and unbelievers, I feel it’s time to unashamedly put our bible-based marriage values back up at the top of our priority list and start talking about them to both God, our children and others, a lot more. The breakdown of marriage and family is so common-place, so typical, so expected in our society today that we, who believe marriage God’s way is the best way, have been silenced, or shoved into a corner as…
